Terms of Sale

About us

Chrono Global Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, under company number 13065582. Our registered office is at Unit 2.02 High Weald House, Glovers End, Bexhill, East Sussex TN39 5ES. Our VAT number is GB371152911. References in these Terms to “we”, “us” and “our” are to Chrono Global Ltd.

We source and sell exclusive luxury timepieces (our Products) via WhatsApp (+44 7535 424301) and Instagram (@savard_co). The easiest way to contact us is by phone or WhatsApp. You can also contact us by email (enquiries@savardco.com) or you can message us on Instagram (@savard_co) or visit us at our offices at our Alderley Edge office.

These Terms of Sale

Please read these Terms of Sale (Terms) carefully and make sure you understand them before you place an order with us. These Terms provide you with information about us and the legal terms and conditions which apply to sales of our Products. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any other document expressly referred to in them. 

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version of these Terms in force at the time you place an order shall apply. These Terms supersede all other terms and conditions we have previously used.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or restrict your statutory rights as a consumer. Separate terms shall apply if you are purchasing Products on behalf of a business. 

These Terms are governed by English law and wherever you live, you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in another part of the UK, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the part of the UK you live in. 

Products

We hold a limited range of Products in stock (Stock Items). We are also able to source bespoke, luxury items to order (Bespoke Items). We make no representations that the items featured on our Instagram page are our Stock Items. All Products are subject to availability. 

By placing an order for a Stock Item via WhatsApp or Instagram, you are making an offer to purchase that item at the price notified to you by us. You are welcome to view Stock Items at our offices in Alderley Edge by appointment only, where you can purchase an item in person.

If you would like us to source a Bespoke Item for you, please contact us. If we are able to source that item for you, we shall notify you of the price once we have identified a willing seller. If you would like to proceed, you will need to move very quickly to secure the Bespoke Item at that price (due to the movement of the market and possibility of other interested buyers).  By proceeding to order the Bespoke Item, you are making an offer to purchase that item at the quoted price. If we are not able to source your requested Bespoke Item, we shall let you know and inform you of any alternatives that we think you may be interested in. 

All orders are subject to our acceptance. We reserve the right to reject any orders in our sole discretion, including where we have limited stock, are unable to source your requested Bespoke Item or where we have noticed an error with your order or with the Product. If we reject your order, we will let you know as soon as possible and refund any sums you have paid in advance.

If you have placed your order via WhatsApp or Instagram, we will contact you to confirm we have received your order. Your order will not be deemed accepted until we notify you or (if earlier) upon despatch of the Products to your delivery address.

Once your order has been accepted by us, a legal contract shall immediately come into existence between us and you incorporating these Terms. 

We are required by law to obtain certain personal information from you prior to the sale of certain high value Products, including your full name and address, proof of address, contact details and date of birth. We reserve the right to require proof of identification at any time for any reason, including to conduct mandatory anti-money laundering checks (which may include a requirement to provide your passport, driving licence, recent utility bills or bank statements and other official documents). We will process and retain your personal data in accordance with our legal obligations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information on how we use your personal data. 

Pricing and payment

All of our Products are individual, luxury items and prices are set according to the market value of the items and their exclusivity. Our pricing varies per item and changes over time. We are free to set the pricing in our sole discretion and we only hold our quotes for Stock Items for a maximum of 24 hours. Pricing for Bespoke Items is set by the relevant seller and is typically outside of our control. We do not hold quotes for Bespoke Items. Please be aware that, unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not reserve any Products for you until we have received full payment of the Price. 

We shall quote the price for a Product prior to you placing your order (the Price). 

All Prices are quoted in pounds sterling, unless stated otherwise, and are inclusive of value added tax chargeable in the UK and standard delivery costs. If the rate of UK VAT increases prior to our receipt of your payment, we shall adjust the rate of VAT you are required to pay. Payments should be made in pounds sterling or such other currency agreed with us in advance. If you wish to make payment in a different currency from the quoted Price, we shall notify you of the relevant Price in your chosen currency. 

We are experienced at delivering Products into the United States and Hong Kong and endeavour to clear customs costs without additional charge to you. However, we reserve the right to pass on to you any additional taxes, charges, levies and duties imposed in any international delivery locations (including the United States and Hong Kong). Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you are responsible for the payment of any additional taxes, charges, levies and duties imposed in respect of international deliveries and for compliance with local import laws. We have no control over such taxes and cannot predict the amount. Deliveries may be subject to seizure by local authorities if there are any restrictions on the import of the Products into the destination territory. We do not make any representations or guarantees in respect of whether you will be permitted to import the Products into your location. We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to Products which are confiscated, seized or otherwise subject to local law restrictions in the country of destination or for non-compliance with applicable laws on importation. We recommend you contact us and seek local advice in the country of destination prior to requesting international delivery. 

We only accept payment by bank transfer. 

You must pay the Price in full before we will despatch the Products to you. We do not reserve or hold Products for you pending receipt of payment unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. 

For Bespoke Items, we cannot guarantee that the item will be reserved or held for you by the seller pending their receipt of your payment and acceptance of your order. If the seller changes their mind at any time, we will refund to you any sums you have paid to us for such item. If the seller decides to increase the Price, we shall notify you of this and you can decide whether you still wish to proceed at the increased Price.  

Delivery

Some Stock Items are available for purchase and collection from our offices. We may also offer collection for certain Bespoke Items. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, any items must be collected within seven days of us notifying you the Product is available for collection. If you fail to collect within seven days, we may charge you for storage costs and/or delivery costs at the rate notified to you in writing. At any time after the seven day collection period, we may cancel your order, refund you the Price you have paid (less applicable storage costs) and resell the Product.

Unless we have agreed you will collect the Product from us, we shall deliver your order to you. Delivery charges are included within the price quoted. We reserve the right to change the Price if your delivery location changes. If you require express delivery, this can be arranged for an additional charge. If you wish to arrange your own courier, this shall be at your sole risk and cost. Local laws restrict us from delivering to certain locations.

For Stock Items, we aim to despatch your order within three business days of receipt of full payment of the Price. For Bespoke Items, we aim to despatch your order within three business days of our satisfactory receipt and inspection of the items from the original seller. We do not despatch items or permit collection until we have received payment of the full Price. 

All Products shall be delivered using our selected secure courier. We shall inform you once your order has been despatched with an estimated delivery date. We cannot guarantee the actual delivery date. If you do not receive your order by the estimated delivery date, please contact us immediately. 

Please note that someone will need to sign for the delivery. If no-one is available at your address to take delivery and sign for receipt we will contact you to rearrange delivery. Orders are fully tracked and insured until signed for at a delivery address. If your parcel appears to have been damaged or tampered with during transit (a damaged parcel), you must refuse to accept delivery and ask the courier to return the parcel to us for inspection. We are unable to accept returns of damaged parcels if you have signed for and accepted delivery. 

If after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery, we will contact you for further instructions. We may charge you for storage costs and any re-delivery costs. If despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery within seven days, we may cancel your order, refund you the Price you have paid (less applicable storage and re-delivery costs) and resell the Product.

Delivery of your order shall be complete when the Products are delivered to your delivery address and signed for and the Products shall be owned by you from that time (and not before). 

If you wish to delay delivery or collection of your order, we may be able to arrange storage of the Product for you, subject to payment of additional storage fees which we shall notify you of.

Defects

We shall supply you with Products which are as described and of satisfactory quality. Unless we expressly make clear otherwise, the Products shall function correctly and shall be fit for the purpose of being worn as a wristwatch or other timepiece. 

To the extent a Product you purchase from us benefits from a warranty from the original manufacturer (a Manufacturer’s Warranty), we shall transfer the benefit of such Manufacturer’s Warranty to you upon purchase of the relevant Product to the extent we are legally entitled to do so. It is possible that the Manufacturer’s Warranty may have expired by the time you purchase the Product from us. Any claims under a Manufacturer's Warranty must be made directly to the relevant manufacturer. 

Our Products are predominantly second-hand goods and from time to time, there may be minor imperfections. For example, original branded packaging may be scuffed or scratched and presentation boxes (including the lining) may be stained or discoloured. If there are any defects, we will bring these to your attention prior to the sale so that you can choose whether to proceed.

Images of our Products which we provide to you and which feature in our advertising materials, including on our social media pages, are for illustrative purposes only. Although we make every effort to display the Products accurately, we cannot guarantee that the Product will be exactly the same as replicated in such images. Occasionally we may use stock images of products from the same range. Colours are often represented differently across different devices and it can be difficult photograph very minor imperfections. If you have any concerns, we recommend you arrange a viewing of your selected Product at our offices prior to purchase.

We take great care to ensure that our Products meet our very high standards and precise specifications. Upon receipt of an item, we take numerous photographs and arrange inspection by a horologist. We also confirm the authenticity of the model. We do not sell any item unless we are 100% confident that it is a fully functioning, authentic item. 

You have statutory rights as a consumer in the unlikely event that a Product you have purchased from us is faulty and this was not brought to your attention prior to the purchase. Further information can be found on the Citizens Advice website here [https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/somethings-gone-wrong-with-a-purchase/return-faulty-goods]. We would usually offer a full refund for defects which are notified to us within 30 days of the date of delivery or collection. For defects which are notified to us within six months of purchase, we would usually attempt to repair or replace your item, failing which we would offer a refund. If the Product does not last a reasonable length of time (save for fair wear and tear), you may be entitled to ask us to repair or replace the item or a part-refund within six years of purchase. 

We may ask you to return the faulty Product to us so we can investigate and confirm whether the Product is faulty. We shall arrange and pay for the costs of the collection of the Product. Please contact us if you need to make a return. We cannot accept liability for any Products which are lost or damaged in transit unless we have arranged the courier. If we determine that the Product is not defective or that the defect is not our responsibility (see section 6.9 below), we are entitled to return the Product to you without offering a repair, replacement or refund. We may charge you for the re-delivery costs and our reasonable storage costs. 

Once you have notified us of a defect, you must make the Product available for collection by our courier and, until collected, keep it in your possession and take care of it. 

We are not responsible for any defects or damage to a Product that happens due to fair wear and tear, an accident or mis-use of the Product (such as submerging the Product in water). We may ask you for evidence that a defect has not been caused by you.  

Your right to cancel 

You are entitled to cancel your order at any time before you make payment. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel. Our contact details are set out at section 1.2 above.

If you are a consumer residing within the UK or European Economic Area and you have placed an order for a Stock Item via Instagram or WhatsApp, you have a statutory right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of delivery or collection of that item (the cooling off period). This right does not apply to if you have purchased an item in person from our offices, if you are a business customer  or if you are a customer residing outside the UK or the European Economic Area. If you wish to exercise your statutory right to change your mind, you must:

notify us within 14 days of the date of delivery or collection of your item. You can do this by using the model form contained at the end of these Terms or by contacting us using our details above; 

return the Product to us. We shall pay for the cost of the return and arrange collection using our selected courier. Due to the high value of our Products, we do not consent to returns via standard mail and we cannot accept liability for any Products which are lost or damaged in transit unless we have arranged the courier;

only handle the Products whilst in your possession in a way which would be permitted in a shop. We are entitled to reduce the value of your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the Products which has been caused by you whilst in your possession. For example, if you have scratched, marked or otherwise damaged the item or damaged the packaging or failed to return any accessories. In some cases, no refund may be payable due to the way you have handled the Product. 

We shall arrange a refund to you within 14 days of collection of the Products from you. We are entitled to deduct from your refund any additional charges you paid as a result of requesting express delivery when you purchased the item.

The statutory right to change your mind during the cooling off period does not apply to Bespoke Items which we have specifically sourced for you and purchased to order. Such items are unique and typically have an extremely small resale market. In order to secure such an item for you, we are required to immediately purchase it from the relevant seller as soon as we receive the Price from you. If we are able to assist you with a resale of your item, we would be happy to do so, but this will be subject to interest from other buyers and is not guaranteed. We charge a commission on all sales. You must be certain you wish to proceed with the purchase before transferring payment of the Price of the Bespoke Item to us. 

Our right to cancel 

We may cancel your order if: 

you fail to pay the Price in full;

you fail to comply with any of these Terms in a material way; 

you are under the age of 18 years; 

we are unable to source a Bespoke Item for you;

we decide to withdraw a Product from sale; 

we make a pricing or Product description error;

you fail to take delivery of your order and the items are returned to us.

If we cancel your order, we shall refund you any sums paid in advance, but we shall be entitled to deduct a reasonable amount if you are at fault and we have incurred costs as a result of this. 

Even if we delay in taking action to enforce this contract, we can still enforce it later. We might not immediately chase you for breaching these Terms, but that does not mean we are prevented from doing so later. 

Additional losses

We are responsible for losses you suffer caused by us failing to comply with these Terms unless the loss you suffer is: 

Unexpected – meaning it was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to us before we entered into a contract with you meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was “unforeseeable”).

Caused by an event outside our control – as long as we have taken reasonable steps to limit the impact of an event outside our control and have informed you of the issue, we will not be responsible for delays outside our control. This may include delivery delays where there are interruptions to a transport network. 

Avoidable – meaning something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following our reasonable instructions.

These Terms do not seek to exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so. 

Legal provisions

We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying your order. We will tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract. You can only transfer your contract with us to someone else if we agree to this. 

The contract is between you and Chrono Global Ltd. No third party is entitled to enforce it and no third party consent is required to amend or terminate the contract.

If a court or other authority decides that any provision in these Terms is unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed modified to make these Terms legal, valid and enforceable or if that is not possible, the relevant provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification or deletion shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the rest of these Terms.
